Extension of the Regain project

An extension of the REGAIN project has just begun to sensitize a wider audience with new actions, which show with their exemplarity that it’s important to build hight energy performance buildings in business parks. This extension is made possible with the financial support of European Interreg IVB ENO program (FEDER funds).

Regain Extension

This extension will affect all essential partners to the success of projects like REGAIN. The Cardiff University with its strong learning experience will take part of the project as a new partner.

The partners met the last 21 and 22 January in Cardiff to finalize the content and the planning of actions to be undertaken jointly across all territories.

New target audiences identification

• Investors and the financial world
• Young people and the world of education (including technical)
• Final users of buildings (difficult to sensitize in the original project, so new type of awareness implemented)

Actions to achieve the above targets

1. Creation of a decision support tool (software) and rationale for investors and financial experts to invest in such buildings in order to help the project initiators to have access to loans and other investments.
2. Realisation of 2 new pilot buildings (extension of the Regain building in Belgium and in France) by insisting on a new dimension : the green building site.
3. Technical trainings for the education and training sectors, learning on green worksite, specific techniques.
4. New work method for a better experience from users in this type of buildings with specific innovative signage.
